Training Update: Week of September 3

This was peak week. The highest weekly mileage of the training cycle. And... my highest mileage training run. Ever.
It is hard to believe that there are less than three weeks to go, and that I am starting to back down on the overall mileage. I am definitely starting to get nervous, but I am also looking forward to seeing how all of my hard work since March (ish) has translated to a marathon. There is a lot to it, knowing that I have spent a good amount of time working on my mental game AS MUCH as the physical one.

But that is beside the point right now. Instead, let's look at how peak week played out.

Monday: 7 miles, yoga.
Tuesday: 9.22 miles (with 3x12 mins @ MP), yoga.
Wednesday: Yoga
Thursday: 7 miles with 10x200m hills, yoga.
Friday: 7 miles & drills, yoga.
Saturday: 24 miles, yoga.
Sunday: yoga.
