Goal Check In: May

Checking in on the month of May feels a little... not great? I am not sure that I had a good month of meeting and exceeding goals. I just... don't know....

1. Save $2500.

I have $1700 in savings. I only added $200 in May. I had a BAD shopping month, where I spent way more money than I should have. I am hoping to turn this around in June with NO spending.

2. Run 2200 miles.
WAY behind. But I am going to keep pushing onward. I am starting marathon training now, so that should (hopefully) help. I don't know that I will be getting back on track as I am only at 606 miles for the year (only 93 miles in May due to a week off after my "A" race), but I am going to continue to push onward to at least see how close I can get.

3. Read 30 books.

3 books read in May. That is not bad. That puts me at 13 books for the year, and therefore, if I can read two in June (I CAN DO IT!) I will be right on pace to hit the goal for the year. I feel like this one is going to be achieved.

4. Maintain yoga streak for the full year.

Streak is going strong - Ann (from Runners Love Yoga) hosted another challenge at the end of the month, and that always helps me to stay strong on this.

5. Write 150 blog posts.
11 posts in May, which puts me at 52 posts for the year. This means I need to average 14 posts per month for the rest of the year. That is rough, but I am definitely going to work toward it, because I set this as a goal!

6. Take a family vacation.
Well, we figured out a weekend trip, so that is a start? More to come.
