Health Warrior Chia Bars: a Review

Disclaimer: I received Health Warrior Chia Bars to review as part of being a BibRave Pro. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro and check out to find and write race reviews!

Now that I am back into training and regaining all of my mileage, I am really starting to focus more on really getting my diet and snacking on track to make sure that I have no nutritional excuses holding me back. I have been trying to do more meal planning and make sure that I have all my food at the office with me every day to ensure that I don't have any excuses when I am at the office for a long day.

When BibRave offered me the opportunity to try out Health Warrior's Chia bars, I felt like it was too good of an opportunity to pass up!

I received the two flavors, seen above, and was glad to see that they were both flavors that I was eager to try (nothing wrong with Chocolate + peanut butter and vanilla almond!) Included with the bars was a marathon training COLORING BOOK.
It was the ABCs of marathon training, and definitely provided some mental relief for me. Everyone who knows me, knows that I have struggled mentally a little with my training, so I have been trying to do different things that will help me to feel more calm and more mentally strong and capable such as meditation and coloring. This fit perfectly into my current regime.

Since receiving the bars, I have been packing one daily to bring with me to work. I usually eat the 100-110 calorie superfood bar in the afternoon as a way of keeping my hunger away, especially when combined with a little protein of some kind! They have been a great addition to my daily snacks.

I have also been coloring regularly, so I took a picture of one of my drawings to show you the fun of this new coloring book!
This is the letter "P". P is for poop. One of the crazy interesting things about being a runner. I have really been enjoying both the bars and the coloring book. Even Addie has claimed a page or two our of the coloring book. Are you interested in a coloring book of your own, you can get one with the purchase of bars by checking out this link. If you decide to get it, post your pictures and share them! That is what I have been doing.
The bars are also delicious. I am looking to order more from the website coming up here shortly, as I have definitely grown accustomed to having them as part of my daily snacks!
