July Goal Progress

So it has been QUITE some time since I last did a goals post. Woops. Because now I am more than halfway through the year and I have not done an update on these goals since February or March? That is pretty bad, isn't it?

But here I am, on the first of August, getting ready to look at the first 7 months of the year and see where things are landing.

1. Write 150 blog posts.
In July, I wrote 14 posts. As of July 31, I have written 108 posts, which puts me ahead of the annual goal. as of now, I need to average just 9 posts per month to hit the goal (down from the 12-13 posts per month when I set out on this path).

2. Attend 150 Pure barre classes.
In July I went to 12 Pure barre classes. That puts me at 99 classes for the year. In order to hit the 150 class goal, I need to attend between 10 and 11 classes per month for the remainder of the year. So I am very slightly ahead of schedule for the year. I will take it.
3. Run 2200 miles.
As of the end of July, I am at 1288.30 miles. That puts me 5 miles ahead of schedule for the year. Obviously that is not that far ahead of schedule, but July allowed me to get a pretty good comeback on the year, when I was a little bit behind.

4. Read 24 books.
I read two more books in July, bringing my annual total to 15, one book ahead of pace. This past month included my "real talk radio" book club selection, plus one more that was a pretty casual read.
