Stepping up to Prep for the Weekend!

I ended up kicking myself up a notch yesterday when it came to workouts. I started Monday morning as I start most Mondays... 45 minutes on the elliptical. I spent a day at work, had Panera with Karen for lunch...

And I continued my day at work. I made arrangements for Teek and Zeus when we are in Vegas for the weekend (they are staying at Becky's so they will have Morgan to play with. Yay!) I got everything on my "to-do" list for the day completed, I browsed CyberMonday deals online and researched potential races for next year, until it was finally 5 pm.

When I got home, I handled the pups and decided to run a few speedy miles. I warmed up with a quarter mile and then did 4x400m @ 7:30 pace with a 400 recovery. I ended up at 2.25 miles total.
Yep. Home treadmill in the dark.

Then I hammered through the CF WOD from the blog.
5 rounds for time:
20 push ups
30 Lunges (15 per side)
40 situps
50 air squats
I completed this in 18:45 but for the 4th and 5th round I had to modify to crunches. I was BEAT!
