It Feels like FALL

So there are another few days of running in the books now. I ran on Monday (as mentioned) prior to meeting up with Karen, on Tuesday I hammered through 6 miles on the treadmill (it was raining - plus I hadn't been to the gym in ages, so I figured it was a good chance to get my money's worth!), and this morning I headed out for 5 more. I am going to do 5 tonight as well.

It was actually really chilly out this morning, so I decided it was a good day to try out a pair of arm warmers. I bought them a little while back because I thought they would make me look like a badass runner.
And heck yeah, I got the red ones! Plus they have thumbholes. I am a sucker for thumbholes in stuff.

If I choose to run in them for the marathon, I think some body glide might be needed. I was lazy today and didn't put any on my upper body (it was not needed on lower body since I was wearing crops). So I will need to remember to put it around my bra lines and some other places because my arms rubbed up against my pits and it rubbed noticeably. No chafing after 5 miles, but I think after 26 that will be a different story! I liked wearing them though. I wore them with a tank and I felt like I was covered up enough. I was sweating by the end, which I expected. That is why I went tank with arm warmers instead of a pullover or something.

Today's run ended up being another one where I had neg splits. Without really paying attention to the watch.
Mile 1 - 9:52
Mile 2 - 9:31
Mile 3 - 9:30
Mile 4 - 9:16
Mile 5 - 9:02
