Sunday Fun-day (ok, Sunday REST day)

Another Sunday, and therefore another day that is set aside simply for relaxing.  I had pretty much zero plans for the day, however, I feel like now, at 3 pm, this is the first time I have really had a chance to just sit my rear down on the couch and relax.

My dad has already been gone for about 3 hours, which means he probably is already almost home.  I am definitely feeling sad about him being gone already.  I have to be honest about it.  I mean, even though he was here for less than 24 hours, I still feel sad when he leaves.

He ended up getting here about 20 minutes after I finished writing yesterday.  We did make the trip to IKEA as he requested.  Neither of us bought anything, but I think he had a lot of ideas for his new place, whenever that finally happens.  He definitely had a whole lot to say regarding his current situation.  He is absolutely miserable where he is right now.  He says he has apartments narrowed down quite a bit and has found several places where he would be happy.

I hope that the timing works out as he wants it to, and then he will be in his own place by March 1.  He will be so much happier and so much healthier out of the place where he is now.  And it actually has absolutely NOTHING to do with Odin for once!  It is completely different right now for him and his living situation than it ever was before.  His things are getting ruined, so he hides them under his bed...  I mean, you should never have to do that in your own home!

So if he is out by March 1, that will be good for him.

So after we went to IKEA we just came back to the house and hung out for about an hour and drank a beer, watching TV, before we headed out for dinner.  As I said yesterday, we were planning on going to Arthur's, one of my dad and I's favorite places, and J had never been there before.  We managed to find a pretty good parking spot, right on the corner.  So we were pretty close!  When we got inside, there was about a 20 minute wait.  We signed in to get a table, and went to the bar to grab a beer while we waited.

About halfway through my miller lite, the pager went off and we got a table.  We enjoyed the burgers that we ordered, all of us.  So it was a really delicious dinner.  I did not go overboard with food or beverages, so that was good.  And I didn't feel to terrible.

When we got home we hung out for a little and then I went to bed around 10 pm.  Jason was already asleep.  I stayed up for a little while and worked on my book, The Night Circus.  I actually ended up sleeping for 10 hours last night which was pretty awesome.  J probably ended up with 12 hours!  So when I woke up around 8 am, I took care of the dogs and then read in bed for 2 hours.  I finished the book, so I think tomorrow I will draft up my review of it and set it to post on Feb 1, since it was my bookclub book for January!

I grocery shopped today as well, and I have all the meals planned for the week.  So hooray!
